Im trying to secure the Meta verified badge on my account because loads of people are impersonating me and therefore I really need the badge. Side note on Step 5: Of course you should not add the that I have putted. This is just to show you that this is exactly what you need to say.
Step 6: Repeat this process multiple times a day for at least 2 business days. Preferably 10 times per business day at maximum.
Step 7: Wait anywhere from 1-3 business days after these attempts, depending on IG support to add applying for the Meta verification badge in ur settings and then after that you will be able to apply for the badge directly.
Side notes:
Dont use the form in Safari.
Use this method during business days for highest chances.
Use this method when its anywhere between 09:00-16:00 in California
(USA), New Zealand or Australia for highest chances.
Use a VPN when you dont live in USA, New Zealand or Australia. A good
VPN for this is for example: Nord VPN. Put the location on preferably a major city in one of the countries where Meta has rolled out the subscription model for messages. Good examples for this are: California (USA), Wellington (New Zealand) or Sydney (Australia).
Dont only try this method with your phone, also use your computer.
Leave some space between your attempts and switch your device per attempt. For example: 10:00 California/New Zealand/Australia time you try with phone, preferably at least 30 minutes after you try through computer and then 30 minutes and we to make sure the chance of you getting holisticz for a bit of time
Make sure you do the attempted with the associated email on your IG account and legal name, as you would need these for verifying your profile after. Also sent along your real government ID that you are going to use for the verification after. Make sure you stand straight up for the camera, hold the ID within your hands and showing it to the camera in a way the ID is being able to be read. Next to this make sure that your face can also be seen in a clear way. I can sent a picture of someone doing this, with of course his private information crossed out, if necessary.
