There's a big flaw in stocky. from my undeerstanding, it picks the cheapest product, and allows users to buy just that. this means that only one seller per prdouct type makes money. And as sellers compete to make their accounts the lowet prices, it measn that the prdocuts will eventually be prcied at the minimum price, which is 0.01. so sellers make absolutly no money at all. This makes selling there impractical and discourages people from putting their accounts on there. This what I've come to realize when i tried to sell there
What you say here is factually incorrect, as only 2 of the 40-something account types are ACTUALLY at 1 cent per account. And also, both of them are mostly leaked on forums for likes, which means that they're supposed to be worth that anyway.
What stocky wants to supply to the buyer is the cheapest account there is. Period. If that means that the price is 1 cent, then that means that the market has gravitated towards its equilibrium position at a price of 1 cent.
There are plenty of other markets (aka Account Types) on stocky for you to make money. The entire Logitech Division is not stocked, the dozen streaming account types that have room for cheaper prices.
Hell, there's netflix there that can be priced A LOT cheaper. Porn as well.
If you want to, you can ask me to add account types for any account types you want to supply.
Also, when Stocky gets the proper buyer base, then those accounts WILL be FLYING out of the stock page. Thus, the supply at that specific price will be eliminated, and new equilibrium will be found at a new price.
As Stocky is so close to the perfect model for a competitive market, tons of microeconomic terms will have actual effect on Stocky. Here, supply and demand IS something that can be applied and something that CAN be calculated.
So, please try to open your mind and to understand WHY all of that happens. It will broaden your horizons and IMO even make you fall in love with the simplicity of the service.
The problem is that most account types will be eventually ffilled and at $0.01 (which will happen, as the site favors the lowest price). Also, even if there are ton of buyers, the most the average person will buy is 1 account, and after PayPal/bitcoin fees, that turns into 0 profit. And as I said before, stocky will only show the accounts with the lowest price, which pushes away sellers who have much better quality accounts and warranty. And even if the accounts dont go to 0.01, only one sellers accounts will be buyable at a time.
Dont get me wrong here, I think the concept of stocky is really good, and the second I heard about it, I went to try it right away, but problems I mentioned can affect the platform later on. Also please correct me if I got something wrong here. This is just my understanding of how it works, and I might be wrong.
I completely understand how you want stocky to supply the cheapest accounts, but this doesnt please a lot of sellers who rely on quality and support over cheaper price to beat competition.
The big variety of accounts could stop the issue I mentioned in the start, but it would still be a problem for popular account types that most people want to buy. I think you should introduce warranty options and other types of options that sellers can pick to add accounts to, and sellers would have more variety. The way I think it would work is that each time someone buys an account, it adds it to some sort of database along with its warranty period, and the buyer can go to stocky at any time in the warranty period, input the emailass , and the system would check if that account is in the database, and then check it to see if it works or not. If it doesnt work, it would issue a replacements.
Ill continue to try to sell on stocky, and to sell different stuff that other people arent, but allowing me to add different options for an account type could greatly help, thank you
