They always have a good and justified reason to ban people. If they dont think its right or it was an error they can always make a ban appeal.

Your probably referring to leeching. For an example, would you like to live with someone that doesn't contribute at all to your household, no you wouldn't. Same thing here. If you want to get access to information you also have to share some in return. So I would say it's a very logical reason.
